Woke up to a snowy landscape today. It had been snowing heavier earlier but now from time to time it changes back and forth from snow to a wintry mix. I am not getting much done today other than daydreaming out the window. Love to watch the snowfall and I am glad for the sake of the farmers we are getting this. Really short on snowfall in our area this year and the water table was already low going in to winter.
A very simple way to use the snow is to hold the snowball in your hands as you think about what it is you want to forget or remove from your life. If you like you can write the intention on a small piece of paper and rework the snowball to incorporate the paper. You may also want to write a simple chant to say while the snow is melting, for example:
(Issue) has brought me strife,
I now see it going out of my life.
Bring me peace as it flees,
So I am free of it, So Mote It Be!
As you hold the snowball between both hands over a bowl, feel it start to melt and visualize what you want out of your life leaving. If you don't mind the cold keep it in your hands until it is all melted or put it in the bowl and watch it melting. When you are finished, pour the water from the melted snow outside, sending your issue away! If you had a piece of paper in the snowball, bury that and then pour the water from the melted snow over it.

I can honestly say no I don't have snow in my freezer and I've never thought of this idea. But I like it! Thanks.
Glad to share with others and thank you both for stopping by. Oh, have used snow at Imbolc as well to mark the waning of winter.
I would be so blessed to have snow in my freezer - haven't seen it in a very long time. Thank you for sharing your workings with the snow, it is something very timely for me right now.
This is a superb idea Cordelia...one that I could share with my Grandaughter who is nine.
She'd really love this one! :)
We got a lot of snow this week too...so I'll make sure to go out and pack several good snowballs and place them in my freezer.
Thanks for sharing your creative workings with us!
Blessed Be!
